The Legendary Leaders Podcast

Oct 4, 2022

How much time are you wasting scrolling down social media that you would be using to be productive elsewhere in your business? If you want to be productive in your business and achieve your goals, you must develop healthy habits that include less social media, and more time off, to come up with creative ideas.

In this episode of the Legendary Leaders Podcast, we have Raman Sehgal, an entrepreneur, and Ramarketing’s Global President. Raman is an International best-selling Author, Keynote speaker, Blogger, Guest lecturer, and Forbes Agency Council Member. He is also Co-Founder of Lead Candidate, a Specialist Talent Acquisition Partner, for the Pharma and Biotech Outsourcing Space, and the Host of an Industry-Leading Pharmaceutical Podcast - Molecule to Market, where he takes listeners inside the outsourcing space of the drug development and manufacturing ecosystem.

Listen in to learn the power of journaling, to help you appreciate the little things in life, and come up with creative ideas for your business. You will also learn how to set the right tone as a Leader, by not behaving or doing things you wouldn’t expect your Team to do.

Bio: Having founded several niche companies, Raman has grown ramarketing (headquartered in Newcastle with a presence in Boston) to a $multi-million, PE-backed, international marketing agency, with over 60 employees, supporting clients in the Life Science space.

Today, alongside being an entrepreneur and ramarketing’s Global President, Raman is an International Best-selling Author, Keynote Speaker, Blogger, Guest Lecturer, and Forbes Agency Council Member. He is also co-founder of Lead Candidate, a specialist Talent Acquisition Partner for the outsourcing space, and the host of pharmaceutical podcast - Molecule to Market where he takes listeners inside the drug development outsourcing space.

Having recently written a no.1 best-selling book about business lessons from a founder's perspective it would be great to discuss my career journey and my experience of being an entrepreneur. I've made heaps of mistakes and I'm very candid about them and like to share them so others can learn.

ramarketing is ambitious and growing. The agency has grown from being a side-hustle I started in my flat in Gateshead, to an international business servicing the life science and pharma space with 100s of clients and 65+ employees - so there's plenty to chat about!

I recently secured private equity investment for ramarketing and learned more about business during the 18-month process than in the last 18 years! So, it would be good to chat about that and how I'm now more rounded as a businessperson.

Finally, I get to interview c-suite leaders on a weekly basis from some of the biggest names in pharma and life science for my podcast. I have learned so much from them as people and professionals and some of the habits they have shared have filtered into my own work and personal life over the years and shaped me as a leader.
